The New Way of Life
We decided to take the car out for a run today and so we drove over to the Lickey Hills for a walk. It was lovely. The car park seemed busy but, because it is such a big space, once we were out of the car and walking, there was plenty of space to have a peaceful walk. It was a funny day weather wise. Rain was predicted at 50-60% chance for the whole day but it didn’t actually rain at all. It was humid. I noticed that walking up hills felt easier than usual. All the cycling seems to have improved my fitness. I might not be losing weight by if I’m improving my fitness that’s something!
I coked fish pie for Sunday lunch.
We’re running out of things to watch on TV. Today we binged on Afterlife with Ricky Gervais. It was actually very good. Funny and poignant. We don’t really like Ricky Gervais but had to admit that he was really good in this.
